Instead, they opted for a remarkable medical procedure called xenotransfusion, where canine blood can be transfused into felines. In this life-saving procedure, the husky, Bret Michaels, donated blood, which ultimately saved the kitten’s life, and the cat is now said to be “on the road to recovery.”
