Bird builds nest on police car, but the officers respond in the sweetest way

The mourning dove is one of the most common birds in North America. But that doesn’t mean they’re not special.These graceful birds are also known as a symbol of peace. They perch on the telephone wires, all day long, charming the viewers. Their gentle nature make us believe there’s impossible for these creature to do something unfitting.

However, this dove in Ohio decided to show its bold side. All after it build her nest on a police car. And since, the our brave officers have owed to protect all beings, not only humans, all they could do was to show their kind side with a sweet gesture.

After a dove has chosen to use one of their patrol cars as its nesting place, the officers in Parma, decided to make the little bird to feel even more comfortable. First they though an umbrella might help in order to protect the future mom from the sun or the rain. Then, they taped off the entire parking spot to make sure no one would disturb the newest member of the police station. “Our officers are human beings just like anyone else,” Parma Police spokesperson Kevin Riley told Fox 8 news. “We care for all lives, human and animal.”

Now that’s how you show respect for the wildlife. Of course, after photos of the lucky bird have been shared on social media, lots of people wanted to show their gratitude to the kind officers. “This is one of the best human interest stories I have seen!,” one user wrote. While another added: “So proud of these police officers who did this wonderful deed for this dove and her chicks.”
