After spotting some tiny survivors on a sinking boat, Thai navy hurried to save their lives. Eventually, it turned out to be a ‘purrfect rescue,’ after the lucky survivors – four adorable kittens, reached the shores.

Earlier this week, a fishing boat sinked off the coast of Thailand, after a fire started onboard. Fortunately, all the members of the crew, eight in total, have been rescued and safely taken onshore. However, when a team of the Royal Thai Navy went to investigate the sinked boat, they just realized not everyone onboard got rescued. Four poor cats were still on that ship, crying for help.

“I used my camera to zoom in to the boat, and I saw one or two cats popping their heads out,” First-Class Petty Officer Wichit Pukdeelon told Reuters.

When noticed the tiny cats, one of the navy’s sailor immediately jumped into action and swam straight to them. Tattaphon Sai is the hero that saved these tiny souls from drowning. Carrying them on his shoulders, Sai has taken all four cat to the navy vessel. Once they got abroad, they got water and food!

While it is unclear, yet, how the cats ended up on the fishing boat, certainly everyone appreciates the heroism of those who saved them. Especially the netizens, because the rescue went viral on Facebook!
