A mother will always do everything in her power to protect her babies, and this heroic mother bear is no different. The majestic animals was spotted carrying her offsprings on her back as swimming across a lake in Wisconsin. The adorable bear family was not alone, because in that part of the day many boaters gathered on the lake. Some of the witnesses captured the lovely scene on camera!
Nelda Powers was among the people that witnessed the once-in-a-lifetime moment. Nelda and her husband Dan were with some friends, enjoying a sunset cruise on the Chippewa Flowage, when spotted the mother bear and her tiny cubs.
“We came across an incredible scene on one of our sunset cruises on the Chippewa Flowage in Sawyer County, Wisconsin,” Nelda wrote on YouTube. “A mama bear safely transporting her three cubs across the water near Indian Trail Resort.”
The group watching the sunset on the boat, when they spotted some movements in the water. None of them had any idea what it might be, but soon as they got closer, Dan yelled “Those are bears in the water, Nelda!”
Boaters then watched in awe as the mother bear swam across the lake carrying all her three babies on her back. The animals didn’t seem scared or bothers by the people that were watching them. Nevertheless, soon as they reached the dry land, they lost their ways in the woods.
