Julia, the girl in the video below, was born with a hearing impairment. This problem often made her feel like she didn’t belong with other kids who weren’t going through the same things. She often felt out of place and was unable to find friends who could totally relate to her struggles. That’s until Walter came along.
Walter has the same problem she has. Still, his hearing impairment did not stop him to make the most out of life and live each day with joy. Maybe now is the best time to mention Walter is actually an adorable puppy.
“They’re the same,” Julia’s mom, Chrissy, explained in a video posted on Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA‘s Facebook page. “She’s learned a whole other kind of love.”
Julia’s parents found him thanks the Pasadena Human Society and SCPCA in California, and knew as soon as they found out more about Walter’s story that he and Julia are meant for each other.
As soon as the girl met her new friend and realized he was experiencing some of the same things she was, Julia’s attitude changed for the better. She began feeling more confident and even started being more sociable among other kids. Most important, she no longer feels alone and like nobody gets what she’s going through.
