When you live in a wooded area, the better chances for some lovely encounters with wild animals. But even so, it’s pretty hard to spot those elusive, shy creatures, like foxes for example. But only if they don’t decide to turn your porch into their private playing yard, like happened to this grandma from Illinois.

Recently, a bunch of snaps of some adorable fox babies went viral on social media. All after the woman’s grandson shared them on Reddit. According to him – Vechrotex on Reddit – on a sunny spring morning, a little fox decided to pay his granny a visit.

Since the woman was more than happy to see the fur invader outside her home and the little one learned he’s actually welcomed, the next day he invited his brother too. Since then, the two tiny fox cubs kept coming to their favorite playground.  But even the cubs looked all by their own, the granny soon noticed their mom was watching over them, a few yards away,  from the bushes.

“Here in Illinois we get red foxes in forested areas, we see them a lot and it’s not that big of a deal,” Vechrotex explained for the Bored Panda. “One day my grandma saw a baby red fox and took a picture of it. She shared the picture with me and I thought it was just so cute, I decided to post it. I’m glad I was able to make so many people happy!”
