Animals have proved, not just once, they are the gentlest souls when comes to help those in need. But even so, they never cease to amaze us with their unbounded kindness. This time a gorilla showing affection to an injured tiny bird, went viral, and for a good reason!
The moment, caught on camera at a zoo in New South Wales, Australia, shows a very concerned gorilla upon a bird that has fallen into his enclosure. Soon as it notices the tiny bird, the massive gorilla rushes to investigate. Then, he carefully lies down next to the helpless bird and checks on it by gently touching it. The noble gesture is nothing short of incredible to everyone who witnessed the scene.
“He’s so gentle with it,” one of the witnesses can be heard, as another one says, “It looks like he’s trying to get it to go.” Then a woman remarks: “How awesome was that?”

“When the bird didn’t fly away, the gorilla walked away without ever harming it,” the video’s description reads. “It was amazing such a big animal could be so gentle.” Although the gorilla’s gesture seem to be very unusual, it shouldn’t come as a surprise. Gorillas are knows as very friendly and caring animals.
The World Wildlife Fund describes gorillas as “gentle giants that display many human-like behaviors and emotions, such as laughter and sadness…they’re also intelligent animals, and often surprise us with behaviors and emotions so similar to our human experience.”
