Despite their gentle, cute, pleasant attitude, cats are anything but friendly creatures. However, there are countless examples of fluffy balls to prove the opposite. And this lovely cat, named Nala is among them.
In fact, Nala is a very social kitten. And apparently she got a pretty adventurous personality. According to her humans, she’s a bit of a star in the neighborhood where a lot o people know her and love her.
One day, after she returned from one of her numerous visits in the neighborhood, her mom noticed she got a note attached to her collar. “My girlfriend’s cat came home with this note,” reddit user goldenstate30 wrote.
It turned out the note was hand-written by one of the neighbors. “I don’t know who this cat belongs to, but she comes and visits us every few weeks,” the note reads. “She’ll meow outside our backdoor until we let her in; she… walks around the house like it’s hers; waits at the fridge until my husband and I feed her bologna. She doesn’t like soft cat food very much! We look forward to her visits. We lost our 21 year old cat this year.”
Shortly after the cat owner’s boyfriend shared the not online, it immediately went viral. And it’s easy to understand why. Coincidence or not, it is so heart-warming to heard something like that. Anyway, I really believe animals have that sense to feel when something’s wrong with us and do their best to comfort us. Just like Nala did with her naighbors!
